Terms & Conditions
Scope of Practice-
Massage therapy services are intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and the relief of muscular tension. Therapists do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or perform any procedure outside their professional scope. Massage is not a substitute for medical care, and clients are encouraged to consult a healthcare provider for any health concerns.
Client Health & Disclosure-
Clients agree to provide accurate and complete health information prior to their session. This includes medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, or recent surgeries. The therapist reserves the right to decline or modify treatment if it may be unsafe or contraindicated.
Consent & Communication-
Massage is a collaborative process. Clients may request adjustments to pressure, technique, or positioning at any time. Continuing with the session implies ongoing consent. Any inappropriate behavior—including sexual language, advances, or harassment—will result in immediate termination of the session with full payment due.
Appointments, Cancellations & Late Arrivals -
Clients are asked to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid impacting other clients. Cancellations or rescheduling require 24 hours’ notice; appointments canceled with less notice may incur a fee up to the full session cost.
Payment & Refunds-
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Prepaid sessions, packages, or gift certificates are non‑refundable but may be transferred to another person unless stated otherwise. No refunds are issued for sessions ended early due to client misconduct.
Confidentiality & Privacy-
All client information—including health history, session notes, and personal details—is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared without written consent, except when required by law.
Professional Boundaries-
Massage therapy is a professional, therapeutic service. The therapist maintains clear boundaries at all times. Clients agree to respect these boundaries and understand that any violation will end the session immediately.
Hygiene & Safety -
Clients are expected to arrive clean and free of contagious conditions. The therapist follows professional hygiene standards and reserves the right to refuse service if illness, infection, or unsafe conditions are present.
Liability-
By receiving massage therapy, clients acknowledge that they participate voluntarily and assume responsibility for any risks associated with treatment. The therapist is not liable for any unforeseen reactions or outcomes that arise from undisclosed health information or failure to follow aftercare recommendations.
