Service Description
Cranio-Sacral Therapy has a rich history as an adjunct form of touch in our massage profession. Current neuroscience research has brought us so much closer to understanding how this light, nurturing system of touch actually affects our clients and their nervous system regulation. While honoring the traditional 10-step protocol pioneered by Dr. John Upledger and others, we will delve into a more client-centered, communicative model of these holds. Assisting our clients in radical self-awareness during treatment and sharply attenuating with body language and cues, we can go much further across the bridge between the physical and psychological. Nervous system regulation by way of micro-movements and sensory narration will be the focus of this unique approach to CST. This course will show you how to fully integrate CST holds into any session you offer and blend seamlessly with other techniques and approaches. What you will receive – • A review of the history, theory and structure of Cranio-sacral Therapy as it has existed until now. • A review of current pain science concepts, the role of the central nervous system and how this work may create physiological change with simple, light movement and intention. • The full traditional 10-Step Protocol of holds as originally pioneered by Dr. Upledger. • Communication skills in a collaborative format with your client that encourages radical self-awareness and perception of change. • Skills for managing emotional manifestations safely and effectively. • Light snacks and lunch provided. • Access to follow up protocol videos and alumni support. • All equipment and supplies provided on-site.
Cancellation Policy
For Massage Therapy Sessions - please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. All cancellations or a request to reschedule within the 24-hour period prior to your treatment time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the price of treatment booked. This will be charged to the card on file. You can mange your booking via the confirmation email sent to your inbox. For Class Bookings - The full class fee is due at time of reservation. The full class fee is 100% refundable up until 14 days prior to the published class start date. All cancellations within 14 days of the class start date will be non-refundable. For Coaching Sessions - please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. All cancellations or no-shows to the scheduled online session within 24 hours will be subject to the full monthly subscription fee of 40 euro or the one-time session fee of 45 euro and a new session will not be available to you until the following billing cycle. You can manage your booking via the confirmation email sent to your inbox. For Coaching Subscriptions - Once you have booked your first coaching session we will forward the details of your subscription service via email. Your subscription will renew monthly on the 2nd of each calendar month for 40 euro. If you cancel your subscription there will be no pro-rated refund. You will have access to your last bookable session until the following billing cycle. You may pause your subscription service for the duration of one billing cycle per year. The subscription will continue to be billed monthly until cancellation is confirmed by the client.
