Service Description
This Ashiatsu (barefoot bodywork) course is completely unique in that you will learn a total full-body application without using expensive props, equipment or requiring difficult build outs to your practice space! This practice is fully mobile and exceeds efficiency for both the practitioner and client above all other Ashiatsu learning styles. Ashiatsu, or Barefoot Bodywork derives from a vast cultural lineage all across the world. Chavutti Thirumal from India, Kua Lua from Hawaii and traditional Fijian bodywork all lend their rich history and style to using the broad pressure of the foot to deliver deep, expansive pressure in a truly elevated sensory experience. You will not only learn Ashiatsu as a stand-alone treatment, you will also learn to integrate elements of barefoot work into any style or approach you currently practice! EVERYONE can do this work, there are no restrictions to weight or skill level to fluently apply Ashiatsu. What you will receive – • A review of the history and traditions of barefoot bodywork, its many influences and modes of application. • A full seated protocol for both prone and supine positioning of the upper body and torso. (for use on table or floor) • A full standing protocol for both prone and supine positioning of the torso and lower body. (for use on table or floor) • Proper body mechanics for effortless execution of technique and optimal therapist safety. • Client communication skills to safely and effectively use your full body weight to create an immersive and relaxing sensory experience. • Access to follow up protocol videos and alumni support. • Light snacks and lunch provided. • All equipment and supplies provided on-site.
Cancellation Policy
For Massage Therapy Sessions - please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. All cancellations or a request to reschedule within the 24-hour period prior to your treatment time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the price of treatment booked. This will be charged to the card on file. You can mange your booking via the confirmation email sent to your inbox. For Class Bookings - The full class fee is due at time of reservation. The full class fee is 100% refundable up until 14 days prior to the published class start date. All cancellations within 14 days of the class start date will be non-refundable. For Coaching Sessions - please allow 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment. All cancellations or no-shows to the scheduled online session within 24 hours will be subject to the full monthly subscription fee of 40 euro or the one-time session fee of 45 euro and a new session will not be available to you until the following billing cycle. You can manage your booking via the confirmation email sent to your inbox. For Coaching Subscriptions - Once you have booked your first coaching session we will forward the details of your subscription service via email. Your subscription will renew monthly on the 2nd of each calendar month for 40 euro. If you cancel your subscription there will be no pro-rated refund. You will have access to your last bookable session until the following billing cycle. You may pause your subscription service for the duration of one billing cycle per year. The subscription will continue to be billed monthly until cancellation is confirmed by the client.
